We're reaching out to you, our dedicated members, for a bit of assistance. We have a fantastic opportunity for you to get involved and ensure the success of our events!
Our UROC trailer, currently stored in Tooele, requires transportation to our launch site for our launches throughout the year. To spread the load and avoid placing the burden on one individual, we're seeking volunteers who own a 3/4-ton truck or above, equipped with trailer brakes to help with towing the trailer out and back for our launches.
If you're interested in being part of our towing volunteer rotation, please send an email to president@uroc.org with your contact information and any special notes or questions you might have. We'll be creating a call list and reaching out to members on a rotating basis, so no one person feels obligated to handle this "chore" every month.
To sweeten the deal, volunteers will receive mileage reimbursement for the to-and-from trips and enjoy prime parking on the flight line during events.
